Advance Diploma in Renal Dialysis Technician (ADRDT)
To train students to work as Dialysis Technicians and assist Nephrologists in their duties.
Eligibility : 10+2 with any stream. Ideally can be done along with any other bachelor`s degree. Although these courses are full time, they are conducted post noon which enables students to attend degree lectures in Morning.
Knowledge and Skills :
Orientation to Dialysis unit / PD Center / Reprocessing room / Preparation room
Setting up of equipments for dialysis
Rinsing, Cleaning and Disinfection of dialysis equipments
Assisting Doctors and Nurses for all dialysis related procedures
Preparation of Concentrate and Chemicals
Dialyzer reprocessing ( manual and Automated)
Disinfection of water treatment plant and water lines.
Assist therapist / nurse in material management
Assist Therapist / Nurse in Concentrate preparation
Cleaning and disinfection of dialysis related equipments
Assist in Reprocessing of dialyzers.
